Production Sections

The production area is divided into sections, such as the cold section, the fryer section and the pickup section. Items are routed to appropriate production sections. Depending on certain factors, production sections are then mapped to display stations, depending on which display stations the items of a production section should be displayed.

The number of production sections can be higher than the number of display stations.

  1. To set up data for the production sections:
  2. Go to LS Hospitality > Kitchen Display System > Item Section Routings > Production Sections.

  3. Create a new line for each production section needed for the company.

 

Each productions section has a unique Code ID and Description

  • Code ID field is a 20 digit alphanumeric field
  • Description field is 50 digits; alphanumeric field

The system can have many production sections. They are used in:

  • KDS routing setup for items, recipes, item categories, product groups and special groups (select Item Section Routings on the Action banner to view the routing)
  • KDS Section Display Stations Mappings (select Section Display Stat. Mappings to view the mappings).
